<p>Penn State is in a college town (a town where everything is geared toward college students). The campus is huge, there’s a even a free shuttle to go from one end to the other. The campus is very pretty, with green lawns and trees. THere are tons of student groups and people are generally friendly. If you like OSU you’d probably like Penn State, but it’s very different in atmosphere and landscaping from A&M.
Penn State’s biggest draw is that it has the biggest alumni network in the US.
Additionally, for breaks, you can easily travel to New York City, Baltimore, and Philadelphia - they have buses for students.
At OSU you can also easily travel to various cities, Cleveland, Pittsburgh… but for the big east coast cities it’s a little farther away.</p>
