Premise 2: I never said admission is higher for transfer students.
Premise 3: Yep, I did imply that college is more demanding than high school…
Premise 4: I addressed that issue. I said that there is an exception, such as taking BS classes. So I did cover the issue of taking easy classes at easy schools.
Bottom line: I never said it’s a backdoor nor implied it. Also, it’s not guaranteed easier. Only if the student performs exceptionally well and shows great potential…then it may help balance out any low HS credentials. Note that this applies to only some exceptional students. If one successfully transfers, then the college saw something else past HS grades that made them a great fit. It’s not the case of an easier admission process. </p>
