Swat may be an outlier. In our kids’ processes, 7-10 years ago, it seemed like the number of supported spots (could be “factor” or “coded” using Amherst labels) were around 4-5 per non-football sports (might be some variation by sport, by year). At Swat, it seemed as if they might have been limited to about 2. The coaches were more eager than others to get a quick response I think because they could only have a couple of “offers” out there at a time.
