As I expected, a wealth of great advice re: advisors, with all personal detailed observations caveat-ed as such and no sweeping generalizations posing as THE definitive word. I’m thinkin’ that Smith education might be good even after graduation! Thank you all so much!

I will attempt to remain in my own advisory role as D has increasingly had the audacity to want to spread her own wings. This parenting major always seems to spring more requirements on me in order to graduate… and I even take summer sessions.

However, with the help of CC, I will now be able to drop some well crafted hints that, while initially taken along with mega eye rolls, may later become part of her own decision making.

Again, thanks!
