<p>ChrisPaul - I was like you choosing between Bing or Stony Brook. I visited both schools and came out impressed. However I found Bing to be too artsy, they were promoting LACs over and over to the point that I fell asleep. The campus housing looks good but besides going there for Business or for college parties there’s no point in going there.</p>
<p>I chose Stony Brook because it was strong in what I wanted to pursue and when I visited the campus, the demos were good and the professors detailed how it was going to be challenging and useful. I got none of the LAC and its vagueness feeling. It remains to be seen how it is when school starts but all indications are is that it is good.</p>
