Pet owners-when you know "it's time" and kids are at school

Awwwwww. I’m so sorry. But what a loved little pup he was. I’m sure he knew it.

So sorry! My beloved pooch went to sleep in my arms. It was incredibly heartbreaking, but at the same time it was a good closure. Hugs to you.

I’ll say it again, you’re a good doggie dad. You did the right thing all the way around.

I was thinking about you today as I was hanging with my very old kitty. His time is coming, and thanks to your story, I’m going to look into a mobile vet for this job.

LasMa, we used a vet from http://www.lapoflove.com . They are national so hope there is one near you. Everyone I dealt with from Lap of Love was so kind and compassionate.

Sorry you are going to have to go through this with your sweet kitty. BTW, I am Dog Mom. Poor Dog Dad is really struggling. Sweet Lab was mostly his dog. Our nest is truly empty now. It stinks.

I’m so sorry, I don’t know where I got the idea you’re a doggie dad. You are a good doggie mom, then.

Thanks for the link. I’ll hold onto it. My kitty is actually remarkably healthy for his age, but he’s 17 and time will catch up with him sooner rather than later. He’s still enjoying life at a slower pace, except for our two much younger females who are the bane of his existence. We hope to have another good year or two with him at least.
