PhD Dismissal after 6 years, how do I fight for it?

I was told about the missing coursework. This is when I was asked to keep everything aside, and take two extra courses. This is not possible as I am on a teacher’s pay and my wife is on dependent visa meaning she cannot work too. So, I could not pay for the coursework and I requested for reconsideration or financial assistance, which was rejected.

Appears that you were given the opportunity to continue work toward your PhD but declined to do so for financial reasons. You gave priority to your teaching job rather than to your PhD studies. Appears that you were given a chance, but elected to forego that chance in order to continue with your teaching job.

Thanks for the response and I apologize for the missing detail. I should have phrased it properly. The two courses they assigned me are the courses which I already took (as substitution as I worked hard on my retired advisor’s projects), and has nothing to do with the courses that I got C’s in the first semester. They asked me to re-take the courses that were listed as taken before my PhD advisor retired. This is the reason I requested for reconsideration so that I can do my oral defense without taking these two courses.

At last, in my recent appeal to the Dean of Graduate Studies, I requested for an opportunity to complete PhD with any required coursework. But none of them are supportive of my visa or financial situation.
I have been applying for teaching positions that accepts my foreign masters’ degree in Applied Mathematics but I believe not many institutions accept it for sponsoring a permanent residency. But I am trying.

Completing my PhD was in my top priority while dealing with Financial and Visa issues, along with the teaching job which I enjoy. This is reason I submitted several requests to waive the newly assigned courses.
