<p>Most med schools do not accept AP credit (and by most I mean like all but 5… I think), though taking a higher level course will usually suffice. (ie, placing out of intro physics but taking 2 semesters of higher level physics)</p>
<p>Either way, I think that taking an AP level class and then not placing out of the introductory class in college is a good idea. Usually, the college course is harder and more in-depth; and your AP class gives you a great foundation for it. Additionally, it’ll help you get an easier A… which as a premed, is a good thing.</p>
