Harbin rooms (like in the pictures) are about 200 square feet, as are New South and Village C West rooms. But in Village C, the private bathroom cuts into that space. The private bathroom probably sounds good to incoming freshmen, but the shared ones are clean (much cleaner than you’ll keep a private one) and I never had to wait for a shower. I preferred the extra space of New South and Harbin. Makes the rooms into better hangout spots.

Darnall rooms are a little smaller, about 175 square feet, and it’s way far away from Leo’s (dining hall). In theory, a place to eat is going to open within Darnall itself at some point, but that was supposed to be open at the start of fall semester and I’m pretty sure it still doesn’t exist. I wouldn’t count on it. Not that you get to pick your dorm anyway.
