I’ll ride my bike within the speed limit. ;)

Thanks for the pictures joshz123! The campus looks awesome!

I honestly don’t think the pictures do the campus justice.

It’s not that bad, just some are a bit blurry He took some good pics of the buildings

Well if he took them from a car window, motion blur is inevitable. o:

Not with my camera =]

I made a facebook…Add me =]

Chan Saetern

yea, high-end cameras cancel-out motion blur :)

Lol okay, I guess I stand corrected. o:

I’ve just visisted UC Davis recently, and after visiting UCD, UCB, UCM and UCLA, I can safely say that Davis takes a solid #1 as far as campuses go. It was huge and pretty. (Don’t take that out of context) A close second would be UCB.

this my first time using this camera, its an olympus sp-350 idk if this is considered “high end” but i never read the manual, so i actually dont know how to use this lol. I probably had the wrong settings for everything. I was walking while taking all the pics. If anyone can help me out tha’d be great. thanks for the responses. I thought davis had a beautiful campus, but i had bad allergies at davis and i haven’t had them in a long time, so better watch out hay fever people.

haha…it’s alright. it’s much better then nothing a all =]

ooo, is there anything about the campus that stands out the most?

Uc santacruz- the best environment, unique architecture for each college

Uc davis- largest campus, the most bikes, awesome gym, i liked how they had these “Lock study rooms” basically if you wanted you’d get locked in a room for 30 minutes and u cant get out, so it basically forces you to study.

Uc riverside- smog (took pics) i was coughing, and it smelled like sewage (at the motel though), lots of ghetto people, i think i spotted a prostitute at night (no offense ucr people). It had a cool clock tower though that would play songs.

Uc Merced- the best dorms, looked like a townhouse, brand new, the bathrooms were nice also should’ve taken pics.

UC LA- thought it had the best architecture, took some high res pics

Whaaaaaaaaat!? Where are these “lock study rooms” that you speak of?? I’ve never heard of such a thing!

hahahha wow are you serious??? locked study rooms? I so need that. lol

They’re timed so they let you out after X minutes and you can’t get out and get distracted. The place around davis is actually pretty run down, and there’s a farm close by. However after traveling a few minutes you get to the Davis town, which looks pretty small, has a few shops, decent. I wouldn’t say its in the middle of no where. Its right by the freeway so i think its convenient. Merced, as u can see, is in the middle of no where.

^^^Looks like I’ll be spending time in these rooms then!

LOL sounds fun.

What if right after you were locked in, you found out that you REALLY REALLY needed to go the restroom?
