Pitt Engineering Scholarships

If you have full tuition (from the UHC I am assuming?) then it’s really unlikely that you will also get a $2000 book scholarship on top of it. From my understanding, this was generally given to people who didn’t get a full-tuition scholarship to help supplement other costs since they were still paying both tuition AND room/board fees.

I could be wrong, of course. But also keep in mind that the scholarships from SSOE can be very specific (since most, if not all, are alumni related). When the alumnus/a gives their money they can specify (if they choose) what it’s used for. I.E. “here is a $3000 book scholarship but it can only be given to a girl who expressed interest in Chemical Engineering”.
