If you are really anxious you could ask the principal, but I don’t think you need to worry about an 8th grade infraction. At the college level warnings are given and after that there are penalties. I have noticed a change toward education versus punishment these days. I really don’t think you need to worry. I am so sorry you are haunted by this mistake years later. In college, pay attention to the rules because I fear you will be traumatized by any future accusations, whether true or not!
