If you can deal with the colors and music and TV station choices…
I hate Zumba.
best bang for your buck, the trick (as a dental hygienist once told me) is compliance, meaning: going regularly
Lol, MOfWC, me too - being the least coordinated person in the room is no fun.
I love Planet Fitness. I have been a member for years. When it first opened I thought it had to be a scam at only $10 a month - not so. It’s clean, has great equipment and is open long hours. There are no classes other than a few on how to use the machines. Its all ages, shapes and sizes with very few muscle heads. They are not “hard sell” and it’s easy to quit if needed. I like to exercise outside so I mostly use it on bad weather days. I’m not sure how they make money. Perhaps at only $10 a month, not many quit. They just keep paying and intending to go “tomorrow”.
Oh, you should see me trying to do hip hop. But the ladies are nice about it and the instructor is really great. He NEVER yells at us and in fact, makes it a point to help everyone feel comfortable being there. That’s not something I’ve seen much in group classes. The yelling and the “Push harder!” and “Do it faster” and “If it doesn’t hurt, you’re not trying!” stuff makes me want to run away.
