East coast and Midwest weather reminded me of another bonus that goes along with DS - he has parents who now live in sunny San Diego and have a resort style back yard with a pool and waterfall, hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor kitchen. And of course we would welcome a DIL’s parents for visits!
D met her H on a site–not sure which. She also went through some other guys quickly.
She had put on her criteria that he needed to be 5’ft 10" minimally.
His friends measured him and put an inch or two more than he is–at 5’9.5.
She would have passed!
SIL is wonderful and has loads of qualities unlike her.
I adore him! They married this last Sept.
