Please help me decide on best program for intelligence / Security Studies!

Try to gain knowledge about security clearances so that you do not unintentionally harm your career progress.

Understand the possible consequences of being more than 30 days late on a debt obligation or of claiming mental health issues when not necessary or when not absolutely true. Too often I read of cavalier advice for students to assert a mental health issue in order to gain an advantage or to excuse a poor grade(s). This can come back to haunt one if in need of a security clearance. Also, be sure to check out the status/job title of anyone who interviews you regarding security clearances.

Additionally, avoid gambling.

Are you willing to share the names of the other colleges or universities to which you were accepted ?

Are you comfortable sharing any standardized test scores broken down by math/English ?

You seemed to have missed some major programs related to your stated interests.

Consider your academic likes and dislikes. For example: Accounting–forensic accounting–is one path to your career goal, but an accounting major is tough and not for everyone.

Are you interested in, and adept at, computer programming ? Foreign languages ? Or ???

Internships can be very beneficial regarding your career interests. Being enrolled in an honors program/honors college can help you make close connections with professors who can refer you to agencies with which they have contacts.

Feel free to PM me with any information that you are comfortable sharing privately & confidentially, but not on an open forum. And, of course, if you prefer not to share additional information, that’s okay & understandable.

i sent you a PM.

Thank you so much. Yes I committed the day I found out. I am so excited and it’s truly an honor. I can most likely get my bachelor’s and master’s in 4 years using the scholarship and come out completely debt free.
