uh… no. you were quoted as saying that YOU were not aware of any single ranking which places Wharton ahead of Chicago and NU.

when I offer up three links right away from three reputable sources which rank Wharton ahead of Chicago and NU, one would think that would enlighten your lack of awareness – but instead you offer up some inexplicable dribble about yuppies and international presence.

but, go ahead, try going back to that six year old Vault.com link for the 100th time for more help as that seems to be the only page in your playbook.

let’s see prestige

Oliver Wyman (formerly Mercer Management Consulting)
btw, I am aware that Oliver Wyman is now comprised of 3 differnet divisions, but Mercer Management Consulting is arguably the most prestigious one

[On Campus](http://www.oliverwyman.com/ow/137.htm)

I don’t see Brown on that

LEK
another top consutling company

[L.E.K Consulting](http://www.lek.com/careers/undergraduate_app2.cfm)

I don’t see Brown on that

McKinsey

[Campus calendars | McKinsey Careers](http://www.mckinsey.com/careers/us_schools/campus_calendar.aspx)

It lists Brown as a school but it surely does not seem like a core school. McKinsey is not even holding on-campus interviews for Brown for the summer BA program for class of 2009 (where it hires most of its first-year analysts). Compare that with Duke, Northwestern, or Penn. I think that there is a link that shows that McKinsey only has on-campus interviews for less than 10 schools for the summer ba program (these are considered the core schools). By clicking on individual schools on the above link, you can see which ones are “core” and which ones are “not core” by seeing which schools have class of 2009 (Summer BA) interviews. Brown is not one of them.

Mercer Human Resource Consulting (another top consulting firm)

[Mercer: Consulting. Outsourcing. Investments.](http://www.mercer.com/referencecontent.jhtml?idContent=1279320)

I don’t see Brown on that one either!

ZS associates (not as prestigious as the others, but still very notable)

[ZS Associates: Careers: Recruiting: Campus Recruiting](http://www.zsassociates.com/careers/recruiting/campus_recruiting/)

I don’t see Brown on that one either.

elsijfdl, why do you feel the need to hide behind that collegebound alter ego?

its pretty clear you are one and the same - i mean both hate Brown, both spend time on the NU boards. and when i ask you to provide links, collegebound is answering. what’s the matter, were you a Brown reject? Is that is what’s behind the hate? Get over it.

btw, no one has used the term “yuppie” since the internet was invented. but that makes sense since you seem to revel in all things ancient like old Vault.com links.

Marakon Associates

[Marakon Associates | apply](http://www.marakon.com/car_apply.html)

Only does on-campus for Penn and Northwestern.

No Brown again!

elsijfdl = collegebound9696!!!

I am not elsijfdl. I don’t even go to NU!

collegebound9696=elsijfdl!!!

man, did my opinion of NU just plummet because of you guys (guy).

incredible.

So, with the links, what do you think of Brown’s rep w. consulting firms?

collegebound,

what happened to:

aren’t going to own up to that rubbish? even after every reputable poster who knows anything about finance totally owned you?

Wrong again pal. Though many of my closest friends are Brown grads.

collegebound,

i don’t think anyone is going to take any advice you give about investment banking or consulting seriously after your Credit Suisse comment. You have no clue what you are talking about, yet you think you do which makes you doubly dangerous.

In my opinion, there are at least 5-6 other firms in the bulge-bracket sector that are more prestigious in the field. That is my opinion. Perhaps, my opinion is colored by the fact that I know a Penn grad that could not get a job at Merrill, Goldman, JP, Lehman, etc but landed Credit Suisse. He had a summer internship at Merrill and did not even receive a full time offer.

I, however, showed all of those recruitment lists. Yet, they were ignored completely. Are those lists not legitimate?

so let me get this straight:

your vast opinion on investment banking is “some guy who didn’t get an offer from Credit Suisse”?

sounds about right.

Reading is an important skill.

This is what I said: "That is my opinion. Perhaps, my opinion is colored by the fact that I know a Penn grad that could not get a job at Merrill, Goldman, JP, Lehman, etc but landed Credit Suisse. "

He did get a job at Credit Suisse.

as for your links, take Mercer for example:

it doesn’t list Brown, but doesn’t list Dartmouth, Princeton, Harvard, MIT or Yale.

but it does list:

* Bryant University
- Penn State
- Rutgers University
- Temple University
- SUNY Binghamton
- Univ. of Connecticut
- Drake Univ.
- Miami Univ. (OH)
- Univ. of Illinois
- Univ. of Iowa
- Univ. of Nebraska

** * Bellarmine University**
* Georgia State
* Texas A&M
* Univ. of Florida
* Arizona State
* Univ. of California Santa Barbara
* Univ. of Colorado Boulder
* Univ. of Utah
* Univ. of Washington
* Univ. of Louisville
* Univ. of Richmond
* Univ. of Texas
* Virginia Tech
* Washington & Lee

So I guess you should go to ASU instead of Harvard or Yale or Brown.

I’ve proved my point about the Vault.com list – which is so old and outdated its borderline criminal to even quote it.
