Please suggest me some good colleges with high financial aid!

Internationls are not eligible for NM…which is a total bummer.

Also, if @Libellula97‌ needs LOTS AND LOTS of aid(like I did), honestly, it will be extremely hard to get in. I know this because I had exactly same problem.

This is why BAMA is such a great choice for international student: OOS scholarship is also available for Int Kids, and it removes so much burden from financially struggling Int kids. And beside Bama is a good school with good ambiance in cozy south. I m also going there.

Do you have 1400 Math+Critical reading from a single score? you MUST have it for full tuition scholarship and University Fellows Experience. As long as you have it, you are good to go to BAMA!

However, if you are thinking about other GOOD schools with Good scholarship, you will find

either schools not as good as BAMA, or schools that are much prestigious and much more competitive.

I applied to more than half schools that @International95‌ listed, and I was rejected from EVERYONE of them…of course I wasn’t so brilliant as you are but just know this: getting into school with the status of international student
with a financial aid is extremely diffcult…

Also, the acceptance rate you see in the google doesn’t accurately reflect the international student acceptance rate.
For example, W&L only accepted 7% of international students…that’s really low, much lower than their avg accepratnece rate, 18%.

And, Wake Forest explicitly states that NO
You may want to look for good schools(not as prestigious as the ones listed above, but still great) with automatic scholarship. There is link in somewhere…

Libellula97, I will be honest. Your grade is great, but for an international student who wants financial aid, I am worried that none of your school will give you enough aid: The schools simply set much higher bars to us. A sad reality.

This is the list of the school you wrote and I will write each school’s situation:
Cornell
University of Richmond
University of Virginia
Skidmore-
Tulane University
Northeastern University
Fordham University
University of Rochester
University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill
Ohio State University
Wake Forest University
Furman University
University of Texas - Austin
University of Pittsburgh

I don’t know about Chapel Hill, but I have to say that except Tulane and Furman(because I don’t know about them) it will be hard to get in. Beside, UVa, UT are public school and they give no cent to int kids.

the only school with need blind and 100% need met for Ints are harvard, Princeton, Yale, Dartmouth, Pomona(Int kids in USA ONLY), Amherst, MIT. But again, I am concerned about your AP and SAT tests. Why did you take only 2 ap tests? They are not definitely enough for people like us. I am sure that having better SAT will help though…

feel free to message me! I would love to help you
