We filed all of the NCAA clearing house paperwork during spring of Senior year of high school. The NCAA will also needs to be on the list for your high school to send the final transcript. As I recall the clearing house also requires that SAT scores be sent. It is my understanding theat the clearing house paperwork has to be submitted whether you are recruited or not. Anyone participating in DivI or II has to go through the clearinghouse system. Even after completing the clearinghouse, the card also needs to be completed. My Mid sent it back in the documents that were returned to the academy prior to I DAy. The only “document” he carried on himself was ID and a copy of his medical “shot” record.

Having a distance runner, he had me send his spikes and running shorts about half way through Plebe Summer. I did see some kids bringing cleats on I Day, don’t know how that worked out for them as the last thing you want to do is haul around excess stuff in your sea bag. There will be instructions in the permit to report package that will let you know what equipment is allowed.
