I heard yesterday from a current fellow that folks will hear via email whether they are selected for a phone interview or not – so no news is good news. They don’t just leave you in limbo.
@xxpaprika Thank you! Does anyone know around when is the last possible day phone interviews will be given?
My daughter was selected for a phone interview and in that email, it said they would be completed by March 20th. It seemed like they were all being conducted this week.
@curiouscollege1 Did she have her interview yet? Mine is tomorrow and I am getting excited/nervous!
It was earlier in the week. She said it was very easy and conversational, basically asking her about her application It seems a very difficult scholarship to get as a high schooler, Good luck.
this was their answer… Thanks for reaching out. Phone interviews are still being scheduled on a rolling basis through next week. We intend to get back to everyone by the end of the month.

No she has not received any notifications.
is there any consensus on whether all finalists receive interviews or if it is only a select few? as in, do some semi-finalists advance to finals without an interview? i have not heard back as far as an interview or rejection as a semi-finalist…
I should add that I am a graduate student…don’t know if there is a different timeline for us as applicants?
It’s my understanding that every person who becomes a finalist is interviewed but that might not be the case! Wishing you luck!!
