<p>I would guess that finding mentors/advisors for research would be quite accesible especially as you become an upperclassmen. You’d get an advisor once you’re here and could look more deeply into that idea. It couldn’t hurt to send an e-mail or call the department if you want more information now. If you visit, then stop by the office. I know a few Political Science majors who really do like the program, although I don’t believe they’re doing Philosophy as well though…and I read a cool article in the FreeP today about a Philosophy Discussion club. They had a Hookah & Philosophy event outside. They mentioned some of the discussions they had, and it sounded very intriguing. </p>
