<p>This thread is very interesting. Certainly it doesn’t represent everyone, and there have been numerous postings by students who have not been accepted anywhere. Those are very sad, disturbing, awful stories, to be sure. But, in these 145 posts, each student was accepted to at least one school. Often more than one. How many schools can you go to? ONE!! I hope, and am reasonably sure, that each of you was advised to only apply to schools you would like to be at. Schools that you could imagine yourself spending four years attending, even though they may be so-called safeties. The “notches on the gun” attitude that is permeating the CC forums is pretty strange, once you begin to look at it.</p>
