Iām going to have to disagree with your logic. A single example of a counselor change coinciding with an acceptance (based on a waitlist conversion to acceptance at that) is far from statistically significant. Waitlist conversion is a very customized (non standardized) process.
The admission counselor at the bottom of my childās applicant portal hasnāt changed and itās been there for weeks (months?). Moreover, my childās counselor is assigned based on our geography, so I donāt see any reason it would change. FWIW, Connect with Your Admissions Officer | Pomona College in Claremont, California - Pomona College has a list of all counselors.
Is there anybody whoās able to log into their applicant portal, but NOT able to access the Admitted Students Day? If so, that would be a fairly convincing tell. On the other hand, if every applicant is able to access the admitted student day page, then itās probably open to everyone, and meaningless in terms of divining admission outcome

Agree. The question is whether you can access the admitted students day registration. Can everyone see it (as seen in the screenshot above) or not?
I was able to log in to the admitted students page, and all it had was an āonly accepted students can registerā page! seems like this is a pretty good indicator, congratulations! i assume the page appeared immediately because you already logged in to the pomona portal on that device prior.
i have a different counselor than before, but i donāt think that means anything.

. But I agree. This whole processā¦although on the surface it appears like a yes no or waitlist is actually very nuanced. There may be more to it than we can figure out. All the best everyone. The results come out in a few hours why waste your mental energy guessing it at this pointā¦ the results are declared at around 4 am for me so I will prolly get to know based on the replies in this forumā:skull:

Yes ofcource, this all has to be taken with a sprinkle of salt. And decisions come out soon anyways. But I used that logic because for some students counsellor changed.
