4.0 UW, female East Asian, at hyper-competitive STEM-oriented public high school, took 13 APs, ECs and courseload heavily emphasize CS, did non-leadership community work, , essays were about my love of literature and writing (even tho I have no listable ECs in them 
) and didn’t mention CS at all.
I think “raised to be a STEM major but found my true calling in the humanities, now I can do both” really helped my case. TV

3.7 UW, male European, private school in Massachusetts. 34 Superscore ACT. 1 AP (5&4 on Exams) class, 7 Honors, 2 Advanced. ECs about service, intellectual curiosity, and inclusion. Essays about compassion, resilience, and humility. Lots of leadership/founding roles. Major for cognitive science/Pre-med.
i applied to Pomona with a predicted IB score of 44/45. Pomona states that a drop in grades will lead to their offers being rescinded. Does anyone know if there’s a certain cuttoff? for example, a minimum IB score? or a maximum decrease in points from your predicted score?
Has anyone already been offered their interview for ED II or RD?
And filled in the form before the Dec 1 deadline
