I see some delusional reasoning in Yali09’s posts – something along the lines of: I will be so unique as a candidate who has a low GPA but a 2400 SAT that Yale will definitely take me because my profile will add to their diversity, which is a great value for them.

What more can I say? On the slight off-chance that you’re not a ■■■■■, I don’t want to be too insulting – your hopes for Yale seem delusional to me. You would be infinitely wiser to investigate attainable options for your next few years that will help you achieve some believable goals. Attending Yale as an undergraduate seems to me to be pretty much a fantasy goal only. Why aren’t you looking for real-world possibilities? Can your guidance office help you?
