My D was accepted off the waitlist last year. She could not be happier about her choice to wait it out. Last year some decisions did not come out until mid May! I don’t think I could point to one thing that got her off the waitlist but if I had to, it would be letting the school know this was your number one choice. Write a letter and make it personal as to the reason it is you number one school. Good luck, the wait can be painful. No matter where you go to school you should make it your own. The school does not define you, you do.
