To be useful for the stated purpose (advanced placement in college), they would have to be aimed at common introductory level college courses that are reasonably similar across various colleges, and where high schools have the capability of teaching advanced level (for high school) courses. But are there that many (or any) such subject areas left?

Yes. With 50K students taking BC before
Senior year, MVC comes immediately to mind. As I have been pushing for years
