Post-Admit Syndrome

The thing I’m kinda worried about is ECs, because I know I can at least make a 3.9ish in the same classes with minimal studying, but I really want to just relax and senioritisize instead of saving the world and all that jazz, but if Yale sees that completely stopped all of my community service and peer tutoring and blahblah then they might be mad. But then, how would they know?

It’s hard to imagine Yale rescinding us - Y is already courting us (or at least me, but I think they really work on all Yale scea’s)

Nick - how are you being courted?

I’ve had alumni call and make their case for Yale. I’m hoping my complaints about fin aid will do something to lower the bill. When I said financial aid wasn’t a huge deciding factor, I didn’t mean my family doesn’t care at all.

I am definitely a Post-Admit Syndrome victim. I have no real homework since I’m in a gap year, but I’ve spent waaaaay to much time messing around with the Yale Admits webpage. Whoever came up with it is a genius; it’s a good device to seduce ambivalent admits.
