<p>Battle’s sign is an indication of a basilar skull fracture…but you would look behind the ear to see it…around the mastoid process…with that you might also expect to see Raccoon eyes (dark circles under the eyes)…and then if you see clear liquid coming from the nose it could be cerebral spinal fluid leaking…we were taught in nursing school that you could test it with a glucose paper test strip…but I think there are studies out showing that might not be very accurate…but don’t quote me on that one.</p>
