<p>13% was the overall SCEA admission rate last year. As the compiler of the Yale SCEA statistics last year, I can say that 23% of the CC SCEA pledgers were admitted.</p>

<p>These were 128 posters who, in a thread much like this one, openly listed their SCEA application in advance of the decision. Moreover, they agreed to follow-up with their results, and 86% did so. My stats assumed that those who did not follow-up were not admittted.</p>
<p>I also tracked a wider group of SCEA applicants who included those above but also those who announced their SCEA results but were not signatories of the above list. Of these, 30% were admitted, but there is probably some biasing owing to the increased probability of successful admits motivated to publish their results after admission.</p>

<p>Based on this, you might expect roughly 25% of your list to be admitted.</p>
<p>For future reference, it would be useful if all of you on this list would agree to post your results, too.</p>
