Man, if you haven’t called for your scores, you should just for the adrenaline rush. I did, and with was such an emotional rollercoaster… heavy-breathing, heart-racing… and the lady says it just like “Macro (2 second pause) [Score].” I guess its awesomeness increases proportional to the number of exams you take…
Satisfaction guaranteed only if you are satisfied with your scores… otherwise it might feel like falling off a rollarcoaster in the middle of a loop.

It was worth the meager $8…

especially if you get your score goals… then you’ll be running around your house making loud noise and looking like an idiot.

If you wait for it in the mail… it’s like an emotional explosion because you pretty much scan the report with your peripheral vision and in about 1.5 seconds you know more or less how you did… and you might actually be overwhelmed and faint.

Regardless it’s an emotional experience you have once a year so use it wisely

"I don’t know, the thing that gets annoying to me is when some kids go

5 (BUT i was TOTALLY EXPECTING a 2!!!), no one cares what you were expecting and secondly deep down you knew you made a 5 so shut up!"

Umm, no… my post was something like that, but i was sincere. The thing is to give other people who don’t know their scores yet hope that, even though they were uncertain about a lot of questions, they may yet get a 5.

yeah a lot of people whove never taken APs before aren’t quite sure about how hard the tests are or how easy the curves are. i know last year, i was pretty sure i’d get a 4 on an exam that i got a 5 on. this year i wised up about the curves…which are AMAZINGLY generous, for those who lack experience.

It’s not necessarily a joke. I got two 5s on AP tests (Calc BC in 7th grade and Stats in 8th grade) in middle school, and if others had been available I think I could have done them as well. But looking at fieldsmedal’s other posts, I see that he’s apparently an IMO gold medal winner, which makes me very curious about his nationality.

Chem- 4(this is really a wow moment. My teacher taught us nothing all year and hated me because I was a little obnoxious about not being taught anything. So a 4? As I opened it I literally said “please let it not be a two”)
US Govt- 5
Calc BC- 4 AB Subscore- 5

AP Calc AB - 5. (freshman)
oh btw guys…how do you keep your AP scores until you get to senior year for university applications? Do you just leave them as it is, or do I have to call them anything like that? THXX!
