Dekans, all of your AP grades should appear in your grade report. You might want to contact collegeboard to figure out what’s going on.

yeah, I will. Thanks!

since when did this thread turn into “post your SAT II scores” thread.

oryx
i have a tricky question for you: why did you take the american history test if you’re canadian? ;)

Spanish Language:4
U.S. History: 3

I’m actually proud of myself for passing, even if I didn’t study

AP Calculus AB: 5
AP Physics B: 5

YESSSSSSSSSSSS.

Oh and last year:
APUSH: 4

After reading this whole entire topic, very tiring 64 pages, I am unsure what to feel? I was initially estatic 'cause they weren’t expected.

This was my first time taking an AP test.

Freshman Scores:

AP U.S. Government & Politics ** 4 ** Self-studied
AP Statistics*************** 4

I’m really happy with AP Stats, because the test was wicked hard. I was in a second semester class, & we only learned about the chi-square material the Friday before the test. And I was to busy reviewing other material to practice that, so when the FR turned out to be heavily my entire class groaned. I expected at most a 3 because of that, I guess it’s the curve.

For the Government I as content, sense it was self study, I’m happy with the score but I am sort of ***ed out at myself because I know I could have done better if I at not tryed to learn the majority of the course the 3 weeks before the test. First experience with trying to speed read textbooks, thank god the teacher for the class let me go to the couple review sessions. I never really finished the course, self study wise cause I did skip a few chapters, like environmental policy, so I sort feel *but not alot like I don’t deserve the credit. Anyway I wish I hadn’t procrastinated on learning the material, think I would have had a plausible chance at a 5.

Well I guess I have to wait till sophmore year for any 5’s. I don’t know how to feel about the scores compared to you guys, since most of you got 5’s, but also I’m younger than most, so I don’t know.

Do you guys have any suggestions for self-study, because I am hoping to do that with some AP tests next, if any of you have self-studied the specific courses, can you tell your method.

I am speculating on self-studying & taking the exam for:
AP Gov’t Comparative
AP Calculus BC/ AB at least
AP Chemistry * I am taking Honors Chemistry class at school this coming year

Also after how many years of a language do you think a person showld take the AP exams for them?

usually 3 years of a language is adequate for the AP exam

–AP World History: 4

usually 3 years of a language is adequate for the AP exam

HA, not even.
i’d say at least 4-5 years. 3 years really isn’t much, and if you’re not a native speaker or an avid francophile (or spanish, chinese, german, whatever fanatic), you’d know those language exams are notoriously hard.

at my school, you can either take spanish 5 or go directly to ap spanish. but most choose to take spanish 5 first and then go to ap spanish lang. at other schools ap classes are the level 5.

it really depends on you, your school, and your situation.
personally, i strongly disagree that 3 years is sufficient enough unless you fall under the exceptions i stated above.

English Language - 4
US History - 4
Calc AB - 5

AP Bio-5
I was actually afraid I would get less because I started slacking the last quarter on stuyding and the fact that I was a senior. But yeah I also wanted to go into pre-med so now I know I have a chance

AP Calc AB- 4
Got a 3 on some practice one and I thought two of the four parts were stupidly easy so I’m not sure if the curve was harsh or the other two parts killed me. But anyway I was planning on retaking Calc I in College anyway so I’m happy

AP Psych- 4
Meh Although my teacher was great I thought the test had some strage stuff we either missed or covered too fast. But anyway I want going to take Pysch 101 anyway so I’m again happy

AP Gov’t- 3
Dissappointing b/c I thought the F/R were pretty straightforward while M/C might have been slighty hard. The class was medicore while the teacher actually thought using present day examples but no one in my class gave any effort. I still get credit but a 4 would’ve been nice.

AP World History - 4
I’m so glad I got a 4, because I rushed the 2nd essay, the 3rd didnt have enough detail in my opinion. I think the DBQ helped me out the most. If I got a 4, I can only guess what my “friends” who made fun of me for studying got…losers!

Chem 4
Lit 4

:)

English Lit 4
I was really hoping for a 5. But the free response question flustered me and I basically ended up with a three page plot summary of Heart of Darkness

Psychology 3
Not bad considering I took regular psych as a junior and only decided at the end of senior year to take the AP exam. That means I had a whole year without having any contact with the subject material (I didn’t study at all). Also I didn’t write the second free response. But still a little disapointed that it wasn’t a four since I can’t get credit for a three.

AP World History 5

Yay! I’m very happy, I thought I was getting a 3 or a 4, although I did get a 100 on the Global Regents so maybe it’s not so much of a shock. Ack i’m happy anyway :D

Did anyone receive their grade reports by mail yet? Too cheap to call AP services if they’ll arrive any day now. I was actually expecting them today only because last year I’m pretty sure i was getting them on my birthday (the 14th).

I’m in NJ, and I got mine today…

Morris, NJ

AP Bio - 4

=(

Bio-5
Macroeconomics-5
Microeconomics-5
English Lit-5
French Language-3 ![]()
Comparative Government/Politics-5
Psychology-5

My scores:

2005:
AP U.S. Gov. & Politics- 3

2006:
AP English Language & Comp.- 3
AP U.S. History- 3
AP Biology- 2
AP Spanish Language- 2

To be honest, I’m very disappointed with my scores in AP English and in U.S. History. I thought I’d possibly get at least a 4 in both. For the other two exams, I knew I had no hope, but I’m honestly surprised I got a 2 in Spanish, though. That test was the worst I’d ever taken.
