Post Your Fall Schedules Here!

north campus major here. i’m a philosophy major.

Phil. 100A: history of ancient philosophy (i.e. mainly Plato and Aristotle)
Phil. 127C (a): Philosophy of Language (i.e. will be taught on Kripke and his book Naming and Necessity; although there’s only one 127C class, a corresponding 127C class will be taught in winter to deal with the former/latter half of the book, whichever we don’t cover in fall)
Phil. 115: Kant (class will be dealing with Kant’s metaphysics [probably Critique of Pure Reason] iirc.)
Phil. 154: rationality and action (i.e. ethics class dealing with choice, free will, and other topics)

overall i’m very excited and can’t wait for fall.

just wondering, how would this text compare, if they could even be compared (i’m not too math savvy) to Apostol’s text? I believe i read (most likely on CC) that they use Apostol at Caltech. But i’m not sure if this has to do with the fact that it’s a superior text, or because apostol taught there haha.
