Your transfer portfolio comment is incorrect .

A first year transfer portfolio should reflect what I have done during my foundation year at my previous art school. Keep in mind I have not declared a major yet or taken enough class that would help me build a portfolio base on my potential major. With that being said, college freshman transfer portfolios should NOT be specific to a major. Im guessing you dont attending an AICAD art school with a foundation year? During Foundation year youre are being very experimenting in all different types of mediums, thus a Freshman transfer portfolio is suppose to reflect and will reflect that more experimental quality of work. Many schools such as RISD in particular, would make students re-do some of there foundation year. All AICAD schools with good standing will required a Foundation transfer portfolio. I done a lot of research and talk to many admission councilors thats what holds to be true

I hope all the potential transfer foundation art students read my statement so they aren’t confused about transfer portfolio requirements.
