Spiral staircase is by far my favorite, but I love the teapot, the sneaker and the dress…what kind of art do you want to do?..your portfolio really shows everything! Good work!

The photog adcoms will LOVE the photo series - that’s exactly what they want to see - and the combining two in one within the series is going to press their buttons with turbo power. Personally, I loved the bee photo…couldn’t tell if it was a photo or a painting until I saw another of the same flower - really great image. I also loved all of the subtle images within images that you pointed out - very cool.

Keep those portfolios coming - I must say I am really enjoying looking at them!

I do plan to add more (there are a lot of incomplete sketches I want to turn into finished drawings), but not much since the school I’m applying to only accepts 3 pieces as a portfolio.

hahah - If it’s any consolation, I guessed Angelina Jolie immediately! I liked your second egg better than the first, but I can’t say why. I look forward to seeing more of your stuff!

Brian, you will certainly be able to do all kinds of art teaching - nice choice!

Daniel, I really like the charcoal egg drawing. The soft edges of it seem to appeal more to my eye than the graphite piece in which you can see individual pencil strokes.
I also like the orchid and how it’s on two pieces of paper.

here are some works from me… i don’t think i will be sending all of those and I’m also missing some works… (a portrait drawing, more observational drawings and other random ones) but that’s all I have uploaded for now:

^I think SVA would be great for you. GL on the scholarship! Pratt gives pretty good financial aid too, but get apps in soon because it tends to go fast.

I was looking at pratt for architecture, which is what I wanted to do until I decided I’d like art education better, but while talking to a student from pratt, he told me it’s more of a concept over function school. Is this true?

Only thing I know bout the arch. program is that it is HARDCORE. Haha. There was some ridiculous number of dropouts/ changes of major in the first couple of weeks at school. Crazy CRAZY workload. But an architecture degree from Pratt looks amazing.

I’m sure you already know this. Haha. I didn’t answer your question. SORRY!
