<p>We do accept freshman applicants in the Spring. The deadline is November 1, though we recommend applying by October 1 to allow sufficient time for I-20 processing. If you were to be accepted to the University and submit your deposit, Stony Brook University staff members would assist you in creating a schedule for the spring semester. </p>
<p>As listed on our website: “Successful applicants in majors within the College of Engineering & Applied Sciences will, in addition to our regular admission criteria, typically have earned outstanding grades in high school calculus and physics. Consideration is given to students who have performed well in advanced science and math courses, as well as those who have participated in science, math, and research competitions.”</p>
