Potentially getting admission revoked

For the record, I did use assist. This class completed requirements for every other school I applied to. I wasn’t going to not take it just to take the class that only CPP wanted. I was told that if my school doesn’t have the necessary class that CPP would let me in and just let me take it there. Now I’m hearing that they will revoke my admission.

Any other school that determined I wasn’t going to meet the transfer requirements for by the end of spring rejected me. That is completely fair. CPP is the ONLY school that looked at my transcripts and planned classes, admitted me, only to then reject me after taking my enrollment and orientation fees.

You dont think the Admissions department has a responsibility to only admit students that meet their requirements? Isn’t that what they get paid to do? Why did every other school fulfill that responsibility, but not CPP? You dont think that if I’m paying them hundreds of dollars for application fees and orientation fees and enrollment fees that the least they could have done is send a short email about the issue?

I’m fine with not being admitted to a school. That’s totally fair. But I think its ridiculous to admit someone and take their non-refundable fee money KNOWING you’re just going to reject them, especially when determining who is qualified for admission is literally your job, and ESPECIALLY when every other school actually does it right.

So dont try to deflect blame by making it about my “responsibility”. That’s asinine.
