<p>With the new administration there have been some changes that impacted PPW and will likely be more coming, so stay flexible. No overnight for one. </p>
<p>Activities may change as well but they had tours etc, hopefully you will still get to visit their rooms in Bancroft</p>
<p>Staying near the Yard (which is what we did staying at Lowes) has one great advantage in terms of the ability to walk on and off without trying to find parking spaces, the hotels tend to cost more so it comes down to what you value most and who will be attending; will you have grandparents with you that may have mobility issues and will need to be driven regardless of where you stay. If that is the case there are a number of hotels out around the Mall that may suit you. </p>
<p>I would make reservations asap, we made ours for I-day and PPW back in Feb when our son first heard he was appointed, you can always cancel them if you change you mind or find a better deal, but when the local hotels are full you are out of luck… </p>
