Pre-Med School Selection Guide

Also common app asks which grade you started rather than dates so for all my leaderships and activities that say 2020, I would put under starting at 11th grade as my participation in the club started in 11th grade or earlier, but I recently acquired position roles in these clubs this year.

I still don’t have a good sense of your rigor. What are your AP scores? What math class will you have senior year? Will you have taken 4 years of all 5 core areas?

For your safety school, not sure Rutgers Newark makes sense over Rutgers Brunswick, just to have a neuroscience major. I expect you can approximate the neuroscience major classes at Brunswick and do an individualized major, and likely have a far superior college experience and more opportunities overall at the larger campus. http://catalogs.rutgers.edu/generated/nb-ug_current/pg316.html

Pitt is probably a highly likely school for you, my advice is to get your app in ASAP. They have rolling admissions, and if admitted as expected in October (assuming you get your app in soon) consider whether that would allow you to remove some schools from you application list. (It should, IMO) Make sure to apply for Pitt Honors as well, it requires an extra essay.

My ap scores are decent with 3s, 4s, and 5s. Freshman year I took no APs and all Honors. Sophomore year I took AP Chemistry and AP World History. Junior year I took AP Biology, AP Calculus AB, AP Language & Composition, AP Statistics, and AP US History. Senior year I am taking AP Calculus BC, AP Physics C, AP Psychology, AP MICRO, AP MACRO, AP Literature & Composition, and Honors Human Anatomy and Physiology.

The OP has asked the question 5 times under 2 different accounts. Closing thread.
