What makes you think UOP has a mediocre program? It’s the second to third best pharmacy school in California. And honestly, you need to be willing to work hard to meet those GPA requirements if you wish to advance into their pharmacy school. It’s not as “guaranteed” as you think it is. Many people in the programs even end up extending due to the amount of workload that they face.
It’s also a matter of which type of pharmacy you’re interested in. If you want to enter community/retail pharmacy, there’s probably no better option than UOP. On the other hand, schools like UCSF and USC are better for research…
