Prediabetes in a fit person, what to do?

@bclintonk, Thank you for post 73, that was helpful. We rarely eat out, occasionally at Thai restaurants and H usually orders grilled seafood & mixed vegetables. I like curries and I suspect they have a lot of sugar to balance the spice.

@Sybylla, I have not heard of MODY; another topic to research! My friend told me to not spend too much time trying to ‘educate’ the primary care physician, all the effort should go to securing an appointment with an endocrinologist.

The typo at the end was a good nudge, I remember that we have an electric wok in the garage so I can try making some healthy stir fried food without all of the added sugar and oil. We finally have a good Asian market in our area (99 Ranch) so this is an opportunity to finesse my cooking skills and add to our spice collection.
