So I guess I’ll start by saying college admissions make no sense. I got into Williams yesterday, then Emory today. In the Ivy League, I was rejected (not even waitlisted) by Cornell, Penn, and Dartmouth. But to my great surprise, I was accepted by Yale and Columbia. I don’t think anyone predicted I would be admitted into Yale, and very few said Columbia. So maybe chance threads really aren’t accurate at all. Who knows? I’ll post again after I hear back from Haverford, and also Stanford, but I’m honestly not holding my breath at this point. Yale was my #1, Columbia was my #2.
