@WildestDream I used the term “preppy” because I felt it was a word that would best describe the sort of culture I’m looking for in a college. This is the sort of information that isn’t something you can just google and know for sure, so I’m asking for people’s personal opinions. It’s the same as someone who looks for politically conservative or liberal schools, or someone who wants to go to school in a certain part of the country for the climate. It’s not something that will make or break my decision, just something that I want to consider as I create a list of schools to consider.
