I’ve been watching the UGA OOS scholarships for 3 or 4 years now. It is insane how much more competitive they have become in just that time frame. My D15 had stats that just the year before would have qualified her for one of the full OOS tuition waivers, based on others from her HS who had received it. But she “only” got a 1/2 waiver, and other excellent students we knew in the area who applied to UGA had similar outcomes. I was frustrated, but chalked it up to competition from our area. But the stats in this thread are higher than my D’s. Just keeps getting tougher and tougher, probably because UGA is pulling so many top in state students with the Hope program.
