<p>Go to Boys/Girls State because its fun and a good experience. It obviously can’t hurt on your resume. I went to Buckeye Boys State two weeks ago and it was honestly the best week of my life. I made so many new friends from across the state it was unbelievable. My city counselor (at boys state) kept telling me how it was a life changing experience, but i don’t think I believed him till the end. I think I can safely say that the friends that i made there (in 9 days) are closer than some of the friends i have back at home. Do it for the experience. You’ll grow so much more there if you’re not worrying about your resume. my city counselor really stressed that if one was there only to boost his resume, he probably shouldnt have come and i think thats really important if you want to have fun there.</p>
