There is no question that if you do well at IU and get a high score on the LSAT, you can get into Georgetown law school. I went to a law school that is generally considered to be more prestigious than Georgetown and there were lots of people there from much less prestigious colleges than IU. (They did well at those colleges, of course). You should go to a college that you think you will enjoy and get a good education at, and that you can afford, and that you think you can do well at. If, several years from now, you still want to go to law school, and you are still interested in Georgetown, the fact that you attended IU rather than a more prestigious college won’t hold you back – assuming you have a good GPA and LSAT score. Or maybe during college you will decide that you are interested in something other than law; keep an open mind.
