Princeton 2015 Hopefuls

“more than worthy of such an honor…” – sounds ■■■■■■■■ if you ask me.

Ohmygawd guys, you’re really scaring me T.T I haven’t gotten the email yet! D: Is there a chance that it’s alphabetical? Or by the date we turned it in? Or like, by city, school (alphabetical that way)? But… it doesn’t matter, right? x.x

My son doesn’t have the email yet either. Sure it is random.

Hahaha, this is exactly how I feel, but my parents are just the opposite. Now they’re anxious to see the decisions.

In any case it’s nice to have peace of mind during a time when I might instead be losing my mind! =P

^^^^^ i registered again for the app tracking thing, do you think i’m now gonna be unable to log in :/

Guys you really need to stop being stress like that … I was just laughing when I read the two last pages of this thread this is just ILLARIOUS…

Have you guys rly not received an info email?

It doesn’t say anything about decisions but what time they’ll be posted

Psssh, let us have our fun for now~

@good4college I registered twice, too :open_mouth:
hmmm I hope we’ll be fine!

Hahaha. Take a ■■■■■ anyone?

Impetuous, why didn’t you continue? :stuck_out_tongue:
Violator, what Impetuous means to hide from you is that a similar case happened with Duke University last year. An investigation later conducted by CCers revealed that students who got an email in the earlier batches apparently had greater chances of admission as compared to those in the later batches.
He just didn’t want to let this out since he knew the nature of us CCers.
Now don’t tell anyone!

I think Lorezobear and dfitz are the same posters who had that I got into Harvard thread (the one where a phone call came, and later OP ‘even peed a little on hearing the good news but no one noticed’.) haha

@perfectpixie my name is lorenzoeblair get it straight… and i have no idea who the hell dfitz was prior to this person’s post on college confidential…

Lol k so you think the batches mean something too?

Lorenzoblair is a ■■■■■, check out the Princeton official rclass of 2015 or something like that, post #3 is the other guy “dfitz” who received the “same letter”.

This dfitz guy, claims getting the acceptance letter and writes a part of it…Well lorenzoblair wrote exactly the same (here), not a word or punctuation different. Doh!..Next time use a different “paragraph” add a few words, periods, even caps!..
Trooooooollllllie dollie wollie!!! just get it, not because you tell the world you got in you will actually get in. Keep wishing though and hopefully you will get in
Reconsidering…hopefully WE will get in :D

Lorenzoblair’s
@only01 OMG OMG OMG… Ok this is what it said: “Congratulations! Upon review of your application to Princeton University, we are delighted to offer you a position in the Class of 2015. Your hard work throughout high school both inside and outside of the classroom proved to our admissions officers that you are more than worthy of such an honor…” Isn’t this legit or not?? please help me out???

dfitz post:
Hey, I think Princeton accidentally sent me an congratulatory letter of acceptance. It said “Congratulations! Upon review of your application to Princeton University, we are delighted to offer you a position in the Class of 2015. Your hard work throughout high school both inside and outside of the classroom proved to our admissions officers that you are more than worthy of such an honor…” It went on to say that financial aid info would be released within a few weeks and they hoped that I would visit, etc.

Did anyone else get one of these???

How many people on CC have been posting their letters and although most of them post the whole letter, what are the chances of two people posting the exact same paragraph, specially stopping at worthy of such an honor.

So, no worries, not letters yet :D

FYI the letter says something like:
Congratulations youve been admitted to Princeton class of 2014.
Your academic acomplishments as curricular achievements and personal quialities…blah blah blah… they never say anything like “admissions officers that you are more than worthy of such an honor…”

yeap…too much free time :D

I love the “more than worthy part”. In splits imagining it written by Princeton adcoms.

The big red flag should have been the fact that their “likely letter” said they were accepted, which a real likely letter would not do.

aw man, I checked my mailbox yesterday. I was totally ■■■■■■■.

My daughter received a letter from Princeton University today stating that they would love for her to contact the admissions office. She is a Junior in high school. Does this mean anything. She did well on her PSAT’s, and our high school is about 10 minutes away from Princeton.

I think this is just because you leave near Princeton University. They just want good students to be interested in Princeton for next year

Good luck for your daughter next year :)

uhhhhhhh i got the same letter as dfitz and lorenzoblair.
sorry guys, i think they’re actually telling the truth

^sure sure darling!
Isn’t the fact that all of you who got this “letter” all have very few posts, an interesting detail to ponder upon?
puts finger on chin and mock thinks
Hmm.
