@FCCDAD if deferred (likely) I’ll move on to one of my full ride options. Too much living to do to sweat all winter.

“Nothing you can do, but you can learn how to be you in time.”

I’ve always wondered about that line… what does “in time” mean? did they mean,
a) you can learn how to be you before it’s too late. You’re not out of time yet.
b) you can learn how to be you, eventually. It’ll happen in good time, don’t stress about it.
c) you can catch on to the rhythm and beat of your own life, so that everything just clicks together perfectly.

I’m leaning towards c) because the Beatles (especially John and Ringo) were rather impish, as well as being musicians.

For all of you: it’s out of your hands now, obviously. There’s nothing you can do… but you can learn how to be you in time.

It’s Easy!

GUYS THERE ARE 2:45 MINUTES LEFT

Hey SCEA Hopefuls! I know a bunch of you are checking out this forum waiting for the agonizing minutes to pass and I just wanted to say I am thinking of you all and remembering the wait 3 years ago…it felt like forever and I get it!

So many of you have commented about the overall positive tone of these threads and I agree! Many of you have contributed thoughtful and supportive comments to each other and I have enjoyed reading your posts…all the while inwardly groaning at the wait you’ve been in.

I’ll be reading your results later today, cheering you on no matter what the results are. If there is anything you’re wondering about Princeton that you think I might be able to help with (from a current parent’s perspective) feel free to PM me. I sincerely wish each of you the very best!!

100 minutes. Hoping I won’t be going home disAPPointed

@Cantiger My son applied to Princeton SCEA engineering major. He actually emphasized a lot of his passion in the field. It’s probably already too late. But I don’t know if that would jeopardize his chance at Princeton.

Oh gosh the suspense is killing me. 80 minutes left good luck guys.

Longest half hour of my life…

For the first time, I truly understand the emotions in all those YouTube videos of people seeing their admission/rejection emails. 8-X

I know I’m getting deferred…but I’m still anxious as hell. Why is admissions such a game?

I’M IN A GLASS CASE OF EMOTION!

Hey guys! Coming from the Yale thread to wish you the bests! I lurked this thread for the past weeks and found @ScienceDaddy was hilarious and @alfawarlord and @Ambitious19 were very helpful! I hope you all get in!
