Click on the FA portal link on the application portal. Then quickly look at the URL on the first page, for me, it said “freshman” then refreshed to “first-year”.

Yes, the URL on that page. Where it says “First Year” for me it said “Freshman” before refreshing to “First Year” again. Try clicking the link on the original portal to the FA portal and see if you notice it.

try looking once more as it does flicker quite quickly after you click the initial link to take you to the FA section. The page is not entirely public and somewhat specific as it remembers your existing login info in order for you to access your personalised FA section in the next stage

So it didn’t flicker. But I tried manually changing it to “Freshman” instead of first year and hit enter. And it reloaded and then changed to first-year

Maybe it’s a cache thing on my phone? Coz it should throw a 404 error on changing url extensions

Can others try this and let us know if you see the same thing? Like the post if you see “Freshmen” before it reloads. If you don’t see “Freshmen” at all add any other reaction to this.

Princeton doesnt use “freshman” at all anymore, if you are seeing that its something they failed to change when they moved over to using “first year.” After acceptance, you will never see the word ‘freshman’ anywhere…I think you may be reading into things sorry :frowning:
