Same here .
You will shine somewhere else. It’s Princeton’s loss.
Life goes on. Nothing can take your talent and strength from you.

Same
Congrats !!! Stats please
Hello everyone-congrats to everyone who got in. Anyone get waitlisted? Any advice or guidance? Thanks!
Rejected. 1550+ SAT, 3.9+GPA, 15+ APs, some humanities/research/olympiad ECs. Couldn’t submit my music supplement (required repertoire I didn’t have) which might’ve hurt, but don’t know. Got into Yale though so it’s all good.
Son was rejected. 36 ACT, 13 APs, ECs, Eagle Scout, work experience, blah, blah, blah. Basically waitlisted or rejected from every top school.
Show continuous interest to every school that waitlisted him. Don’t get upset, it’s not over yet.
Seems like it’s impossible to get accepted off waitlist but we’ll give it a shot. Thanks.
Son was rejected. 1590 4.0 uw, he had a really great interview for Princeton; ivy day was rough here with 4 rejections and 1 waitlist (Cornell). Obviously we all went in knowing this was the likely outcome, but there is still disappointment. We went out to get icecream as a family, and will be regrouping this weekend to figure out next steps. ![]()
Same. Princeton was his top choice, but not meant to be. We had all rejections. No waitlist. Duke tomorrow and assuming same fate. We are headed to Pepperdine regent scholar reception tomorrow so it will be nice to get some love from a wonderful school.
Accepted!
4.0 UW, 1540 SAT, 11 APs, 3 post-AP math courses
AIME + prestigious music ECs/awards
Strong LoRs, essays, and interview
Accepted: Berkeley, Tufts, Boston College, UCSB (with Regents)
Waitlisted: UPenn, Barnard, Columbia, Harvard, NYU, UCSD, UCI, BU, Wellesley
Rejected: USC, UCLA, Northeastern
I got waitlisted- realistically, what are the chances that I get accepted?
Daughter rejected after REA deferral. Accepted to Brown though, so all is good ![]()
You have to show continuous interest. Send a letter with updates. Visit if you can. The chances are low.
