I am so glad that my school exempts seniors with A’s in their classes from exams because I don’t think I would do well with the decision date on my mind.
@danieljg511 ugh my school kind of does the same thing except the ap teachers are allowed to give us midterms so i have four really tough exams 
but they’re not next week, they’re the week after

@YaleStudent20 it’s the last few months we’ll ever be this close to our parents…cherish this holiday and the time you spend. study for your exams ahead of time so you can do it non-stressfully and make sure you spend extra time doing fun things with family/friends. read a novel, listen to new music (flatsound is a super cool band cx) & maybe bake cookies for your friends for fun
@YaleStudent20 I am working very hard to finish with high grades the first semester of senior year because of the the mid year report that is sent. It is my motivation because in case that I am deferred or denied from Princeton (most probably), I need to have a strong mid year report for my RD schools. Studying for finals has helped me cope with college admissions anxiety, also spending time with friends on weekends helps.
maybe its just my school but have you guys told a lot of people about ED Princeton??? I only told my closest friends. My school mainly the top 20 in my class (excluding me and some others) are really petty about grades and colleges. So im keeping it really lowkey
so how is everyone planning on opening the decision…will you do it at school? at home? alone? with family around? with friends around? ahhhhh!!

I only told a couple of people I was applying, but the news spread and now I’m pretty sure I’ll be flooded with questions once results are out- especially because another girl in my class applied SCEA Princeton too, and now everyone is curious to see which one of us will make it
Only one friend knows and my family. this was the best decision, that way if I am not accepted I do not have to tell anyone. hahahha
Both Carnegie Mellon and Johns Hopkins have accidentally sent out acceptance letters to students only to clarify and reject them… ouch
My friends randomly yell the name of top colleges when I’m nearby, like “MIT!” “hey, princeton’s here!” " so how’s college apps? Stanford right?" LOL it’s kinda frustrating cuz I know I haven’t done enough to get into any of them so it’ll be hard to explain when I’m rejected/deferred

@nikuedu at home. My mom took a day off, but I’m making her go shopping so I can wallow in my sorrow alone 
@nikuedu it’ll be 1:30 am in my timezone so I’ll be at home and immediately go to the basketball court no matter the result lol
